After celebrating our two year anniversary as Anemaracing, we decided to reflect upon the last two years as a team. With only 27 results, the team performed worse than expected, achieving almost no podiums.
Previously, the team was mainly focused on building a sprint train strong enough to deliver the best sprinter of the team in a good position to finish the job. This train was able to achieve top 10s in most road courses, but lacked the expertise or experience to win.
The sprinttrain fell apart when Quinten Meijs decided to retire. Even though he is still a proud part of our family as a trainer, he is not earning points for us anymore.
After seeing the heavy crashes in sprinting stages recently, we, as anemaracing, decided it was time for a change. We kept one sprinter, as Douglas Valentino is able to sprint to some top 10 places when the time is right, but focused the new riders, transfers and talents to a climbing team.
The climbing stages or races often have some quick descents, leg-killing climbs and insanely exciting sprints at the end. With Minea and Manstein, our future will be focused on climbing. Young riders will be trained for climbing, hills, and downhill skills.
We at Anemaracing would like to thank our sprinttrain, and welcome our new climbers into the team.
Let's see what the future will bring us!

Good luck with the switch to climbing!
Minea and Manstein are quite old. They can be good team mates for some seasons, but not as captain. I hope you will find/train a good rider soon.
